So, do you have to take this test if you already have a motorcycle endorsement?
Damn instructor is confusing talk more slow and to hell with it damn cones
where is this that they are using kilometers?
Hahaha nice I got my license with this guy 4 years ago 🎉 He is great! The best in BC!
so i live in BC - Im interested in getting my motor bike license however i would love to get the navi - so can the road test as well as the skills test be done on the navi??? orrrr do I have to actually get a 200CC? :(
You can still do your final road test on the Navi. It’ll get you a full license. You just won’t be allowed to take passengers. That’s the only restriction.
Taking the class in 3 weeks. Very excited!
Good job
Why is the test so long for a 3 wheeler?
It’s standard for all three wheel and two wheel MST tests. Most of it is explaining what the rider has to do. Actual riding is pretty minimal.
Im in kansas and wish i could seenit so i can pass, i get too nervous.
Question... Can i put some speed a little bit for a slalom? I only 5'5" height and i got a rental z650 kawasaki..thats the only motorcycle available near in my area.. and its heavy if you ride into a slalom without momentum.. How fast or how Slow is the slalom for icbc MST or MSA ? Thank you!
what is double stepping?
im think its like waddling, taking more then one step, I could be wrong
@@johnnyye8024 I think waddling to the starting line is fine, it meant put your feet down after engaging the clutch to catch yourself when losing balance
Thanks Lee, great video i will watch and practice like this before my test.
Would a new rider benefit from a course like this or would they need more time on the road before trying something like this?
New rider friendly for sure!
Is the entire test on first gear or do you gear up?
Looks like all first gear
Should be passing to the right of the first slalom cone. That way you only go around 4 cones. Passing to the left has you doing five
Completely agree! But the momentum of the turn can be easier to maintain to transition later. I see it with students all the time. The challenge of a the uturn can take an extra moment to recover from which will put the motorcycle on the right side of the cone.
What are the measurements on the cone placement from the four to the back “wall”?
7 meters
Is there any major differences if you are doing this test with an electric motorcycle
What distance is the cone spacing for the slalom?
It changes wit the length of your bike. I believe it's determined by your turn radius.
1st Gear puts the "Ass" in "Assessment"
😂😂
So excited, I’ll be on the bike tomorrow in Coquitlam, looking forward to it
I’m signed up for the August 11th course, can’t wait, cheers
how’d it go ?
This morning at 7:15. My big day. At gym still getting my work in..
Just got my learners, I’ll be calling you guys soon to book a course, great video
I just completed this course yesterday. Kurt, Matt and Rob were fantastic instructors. The last 3 days were 100 plus degrees but definitely worth it.
Are the rules still the same as this? My test is tomorrow
I took the ride like a pro class with Jerry Paladino, I did alright but I kept practicing the techniques and I ride like a pro now
I have just watched your other video where a middle aged lady is practising her skills with you, at the end of the video you said, well done you passed, I am sorry but you are misleading people, that lady made at least 20 mistakes, mainly on a double lane road you do not ride your motorbike on the very left side (P1) of the road if you are not turning left, she repeated the same mistake over and over!!!! Secondly, when you are riding on a road you have to check (shoulder check) all intersections ( left or right) that lady has not done any of those.. I wanted to give comments there under that video but comments were disabled, could it be because many people were complaining about you training skills???
This isn't a road test, it's not testing your road skills, it's only testing your ability to handle a bike at low speeds.
😂😂😂 bruh he mentioned every single mistake she made, he was making a reference for her future exam after she cleans up her skills
Thank you!
I can do that on my 900 pound RoadGlide Ultra ua-cam.com/video/Z1Pp0vcQ-C0/v-deo.html
Wonder how hard it is to remember all those patterns.
Pretty easy when you’re doing the same ones for four days in a row. We still have orange cone nightmares.
Cant wait to take my test on my monkey
Would love to take a course like this.
where u located
Price of course?
He's not even riding a motorcycle. Groms don't count. Gotta refilm it
I just completed this course. Well worth the time and money. I plan to go back for a refresher next year.
You comment a lot about the rear brake, I now wonder how much difference it will make with the new linked brakes...
It’s still useful. Linked brakes are quite gentle. Even stomping on the rear brake doesn’t pull hard on the front.
Harley linked brakes don't link until your speed reaches 25mph, so slow speed maneuvers such as these would never see the front brake applied via linked brakes.
Tips: keep your head up, eyes straight, speed approx 10 km/h, keep clutch in friction zone, steady pressure on rear brake, lean away during the slow turn, turn head hard during the u-turn
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely keep this in mind.
wow that looks like a fun night
Cool! great video and editing! You killed that riding awesome Lee! @ 4:40 "crashed a couple tiiiiiiiiimes" your voice cracked - perfect comedic timing :) lol
Great video Lee! That daisy of death looked hard! I really liked how you shot your final exam too.
Very cool vlog, I appreciate the perspective!
